EM Sky has been described most frequently as a "nerd," a "geek," a "big kid," a "free spirit," a "force of nature," and a "pain in the a--," and not necessarily in that order. Kids tend to think she's "cool," grown-ups tend to think she's "a little odd," and animals seem to adore her for no particular reason.

A Jersey girl by birth, EM has also lived in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, California, Hawaii, and now Georgia, where she has resided more or less permanently since 1992. A current resident of Peachtree City, GA, EM can often be seen out with her dog Jake, also known as Jake Dog, Jake Jake, Jakey Jake, Jake Boo, Booster, Booster Boo, and on especially good days, Buddy Buddy Booster.
